This is really cool. It's like discovering a talent I never knew I had. Actually, that's exactly what it is; I didn't know I could "draw." Of course it's mostly super-awesome PS hacks.

I'm getting a whole lot of "wtf," so it's come to my attention that this one needs interpretation. Well unless you're a fan of NIN or the song, I guess I can understand.

First off, the song happens to be about someone (or something) that is very manipulative and demands a lot (or perhaps too much) from people. Be it someone close to you or some ideology you subscribe to. Is that what the halo is for hmm? huh? what's that? ...maybe.

Secondly: Yes, I am aware the "souls" look like sperm. There's a lot of phallic imagery in the song, which Trent uses throughout the CD to portray the image headstrong ignorance and that whole false sense of "I'm way bigger/stronger/cooler than you."

I figured, since the point of the image was to have the "Ruiner" collecting and sucking souls dry, that my "souls" wouldn't be traditional winged creatures. Rather, they're the embodiment of potential (potential that gets sucked dry) and a throwback to the phallic imagery that's been slipped into the song.
